Stylite

Stylite is the product of a year and a half of work encompassing elements of 3D and 2D animation to create a single short film. The project is designed to leverage the best aspects of both styles and uses a myriad of applications to do so including: Blender, Toon Boom, After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop. The Piece is currently going through the submitting process for film festivals however you are free to watch it below. Please enjoy.

Mortal Restaurant

Mortal Restaurant is a Group Capstone Project that I am leading. It encompasses a short skit in which an Octopus is a sushi chef at a restaurant. All of the patrons of the restaurant however, are also fish, so when the chef runs out of ingredients, he simply grabs one of the guests. The whole setting gradually descends into chaos and eventually the camera gets eaten by a shark. The idea is rather than 5 minutes of good animation, 40 seconds of amazing animation.

I am project manager, lead animator, I have rigged all the characters, and I have made some of the environmental assets as well as some of the fish (the ones with turn-a-rounds). I am also responsible for the assembly of all the given assets into a convenient and well organized file fit for animating. I was also responsible for animating the first and final shots.
